There has been
quite a bit of discussion about stem cell research because of related
ethical questions. We looked at something related to this on Day 07, but
that was about human cloning in general. Here we're talking about stem
cell research in particular.

- The good news now is that it
appears possible to clone without stem cells. On 02 Oct 2006,
scientists at Pittsburgh University in the USA created two baby mice
from a fully matured blood cell that itself is incapable of making more
of its own kind.
